Yeah, Toles is in the top ten for me.
Tom Tomorrow, Ted Rall, Ruben Bolling, Pat Oliphant, Ben Sargent, Herbert Block, Thomas Nast (of course), and Ron Cobb, whose work (if you don't know it) you can see here.

I should also add that my Cartoonists With Attitude comrades are big inspirations, too. It goes without saying, but I should say it. They rock.
