My New Mantra

My study group watched one of the assigned movies representing librarians and information professionals, Party Girl with the hilarious Parker Posey. The line uttered by her godmother, Judy the library director, quickly struck us as the mantra we will repeat throughout our careers: "He's not a dick, he's a patron."

Jenn adapted that easily to nursing: "He's not a dick, he's a patient." This should serve anyone dealing with clients, customers and other random elements of the public.
